Nishimura Keiko
Keiko Nishimura is a graduate from the MA in Japanese Studies from the Program in Global Studies at Sophia University. Her work focuses on female fandom and digital participatory media culture, and she is particularly interested in those spaces where new technologies meet cultural practices. Her article, "On Exhaustion, self-censorship and affective community," came out in Hot Spots: 3.11 Politics in Disaster Japan. http://www.culanth.org/?q=node/415 Keiko is currently a research associate at Duke University.
